Well, it takes one big mistake to teach a life lesson. Mine was not to trust people who promise you the world for your own sweat and work. They never follow through. It's been months since I signed on to work with Dan, and he hasn't paid me a CENT yet. He hasn't even gotten me the full contract (which he promised to send me back in May). I doubt it'll ever happen. It's all a big disappointing mess, but at least I've learned from it. So I'm just going to chalk the whole thing up to my own stupidity in choosing who to trust, and begin applying for more realistic jobs. You know, with employers who'll actually pay me what they've promised they will. My fingers are crossed, my skills are honed, and I hope to receive some calls soon. :) Wish me luck.

Let's see...new job with a company, fruitful side freelance work, college graduation, and plenty of awesome prospects. Life is good.
Updates: added a couple of links (including the LCAYS affiliate), and other minor stuff.
Oh, and I was wondering why nobody's been signing my guestbook for a while. Turns out the site I had used to host it was majorly defunct. I set up a new one. Go and sign!

Tweaked Updates, Geekdom, Artist, and a couple of other pages. I hope to poke around a bit more in the next few weeks, upload stuff, rearrange a little...basically just continue Ye Olde Work In Progress. Well, a good website is always under construction, anyway. In the meantime, I'm doing freelance jobs (websites and graphics), working on graduating, and eventually getting my A+ certification. I'm on my way to becoming an IT, woohoo!

Sheesh, it's been a while since I've touched this thing. I've been so tied up with school and stuff that I haven't had time for much. Just updating pages here and there with relevant information and such things. Hopefully I can get up some new content soon, now that I have a lot more time on my hands - I only have two classes this semester, then I graduate in May. Hopefully. So stay tuned. :)

Finally updating, after...how many months? It's been too long, that's all I know. I'm trying to keep the new design simple, but at the same time fun and quirky. Cutting down on scripting and the last site's iframes was a must. The only major icky now is making up ALLLL the new pages. There's a lot I gotta finish, and they all need to have the same damn navbars on the sides. o_o; Eh, I'll CAP em, no biggie, but it's still a bitch to keep doing. I'd rather stay away from frames though, so I don't exactly have a choice other than to learn Flash (one of these days!). Meh. Back to Dreamweaver I go.
